Community Watcher
Community Watcher is a personal safety app that was created as a grassroots initiative resulting from the need for better support for members of the community. Anyone can use the app, especially the most vulnerable of our society. Information is shared with the Community Watcher members through the app. Members can also use the app in non-personal emergencies through group chats to let others know what urgent matters are taking place in the area. Community Watcher safety app is a grass roots project for protection and enhancement of the community.
The Community Watcher Safety App can be found on Google Play and the Apple Store.
Alert the Community
If a member feels they are in an unsafe situation at a store, restaurant, mall, or even driving, the app can be used to alert family, friends and the Community Watcher members at the same time! With the push of a button, a member can let the entire community know that “I feel Unsafe”, “I am in Danger”, “I am being Kidnapped”, or “Police Interaction”.
Get Help
Selected personal contacts will be notified of the situation and also receive a text with the exact location along with a video and picture and can assist if they are able.
Safe and Sound
Also, with the push of a button, members can let everyone know “I am Safe” to end the alert.
